Mike Hetzel is a New York based drummer, audio engineer, and educator. Mike currently tours with YYNOT (Rush Tribute) and Rockin’ The Paradise (Styx Tribute).

 

Born in Milwaukee, WI in 1992, Mike’s initial interest in music was sparked by his piano playing father. Mike started performing professionally at age nine, gigging around the Milwaukee music scene covering everything from jazz to rock.

In 2013, Mike moved to Los Angeles to attend Musicians Institute where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Drum Performance. Mike also studied online through Berklee College of Music for drumming and audio production.
